Bnei Ephraim

The group of Jews calling themselves the Bnei Ephraim. They live near  Chebrolu, Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh, India, near the delta of the River Krishna. They claim to be of the tribe of Ephraim, exiled in 722 BCE. according to them, they were practicing Jews who took on christian practices due to missionaries and then began to forget their Jewish heritage as time  passed.
